Power restored in Scarborough

Toronto Hydro has restored power to about 3,000 customers after an outage in Scarborough on Monday night.
The affected area stretched from Sheppard Avenue East to Highway 401 and from Brimley Road to McCowan Road.
A Hydro employee said the switch in a powerhouse went off and it took about 15 minutes to repair the damage.
Power was restored by 9:30 p.m., Toronto Hydro said.
