Public’s help sought after Scarborough home invasion

Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a home invasion that saw a three-year-old child threatened and tied up.

The invasion happened Sunday afternoon in the Sheppard Avenue East and Neilson Road area of Scarborough.

The incident began when two men, one who was armed with a gun, broke into a home and tied up all three occupants, including the child.

Investigators say the suspects then threatened to kill the three year old if the other victims didn’t co-operate.

The two male suspects are both described as white, 25-35 years old. One is six-foot-two with a slim build and the other standing about five foot five.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police or CrimeStoppers.
