Woman attacked in Shuter Street apartment stairwell

Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was attacked in an apartment stairwell in downtown Toronto last weekend.
The attack happened in the late afternoon near Shuter and Berkeley streets on Saturday. Police said a man followed a woman walking in the Queen and Sherbourne area and then followed her into an apartment on Shuter where he sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as:
- Black,
- 22 to 24 years old,
- about five-foot-one with a medium build,
- beard with no moustache
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black tear away pants and white Nike running shoes.
