A Stouffville man has died after he was pinned to a wall by a van in Brampton, Peel police say.
The 43-year-old pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident happened around 10 a.m. Wednesday at a vehicle auction services firm called Adesa on Auction Lane. That’s in the Goreway Drive and Queen Street East area.
Const. Erin Cooper said investigators will look over the vehicle and will download the computers that are in it as well as check over the van’s mechanics. The driver is a 69-year-old man from Brampton. There was no word on charges.
Investigators with the Ontario labour ministry is also there.
The victim’s name hasn’t been disclosed, and it’s unclear if he was an employee of Adesa.
