Driver in hospital after crashing into a tree

A man is in hospital after he crashed his car into a tree on Sunday morning.
The crash happened on Laura Road, near Highway 400 and Sheppard Avenue, around 2 a.m.
The tree was uprooted by the force of the collision and the vehicle ended up on its roof.
Toronto police believe alcohol may have been a factor.
The driver was the only person in the car. He was conscious and breathing when emergency crews arrived.
There’s no word yet on his name or age.
