Man sought in Mississauga wife’s murder

Police have named the husband of a 40-year-old Mississauga woman as a suspect in her murder.

Around 1:30 p.m., Peel police found the body of the victim, now identified as Aicha Saludares, in a home on Lakeshore Road East, near Cawthra Road. They said she had obvious injuries on her body but did not reveal what might have caused them.

Homicide detectives are looking for Saludares’ husband, 39-year-old Nelson Tayongtong, who is originally from the Philippines, but was living up until recently in Mississauga.

He is Asian, five-foot-seven, 130 pounds, with a slim build and short, straight, black hair.

Police are warning the public not to approach him as he may be dangerous.
