Man charged in connection with string of break and enters in the Beaches

A 33-year-old man is facing charges after a string of break and enters in the Beaches area.
It is alleged that the accused was breaking into a home Monday afternoon when a teenager who was inside the home contacted police. The male was chased from the residence and arrested.
The accused also allegedly broke into two houses in the Beaches area and attempted to break into a third in August. A quantity of jewellery and electronics were stolen from the homes.
Police say the suspect was in possession of a quantity of marijuana and oxycodone at the time of arrest.
Shane Walker of Toronto has been charged with three counts of break and enter with intent, attempt break and enter with intent, and three counts of drug possession.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
