Alleged Galloway Boys member arrested in Domino’s Pizza shooting

Toronto police have arrested a man they say is a member of the Galloway Boys, a notorious gang linked to this summer’s Danzig shooting in Scarborough.

Ad-Ham Khamis, 19, was arrested on Thursday and charged with four counts of attempted murder for two shootings last year, one of them at a Domino’s Pizza.

Police say the suspect opened fire on three people at the restaurant on Sept. 4, 2011.

He’s also accused of a shooting on Northfield Drive on Nov. 4, 2011, where one person was shot.

Khamis is also facing two charges of pointing a firearm, trafficking in firearms, and a slew of other weapons-related charges.

Khamis will appear in court Friday.

Police have linked the Galloway Boys gang to a shocking amount of recent violence in Scarborough, including the fatal mass shooting at a community barbecue on Danzig Street, the murder of D’Mitre Barnaby and several other shootings.

The gang’s efforts to protect its territory, in the Kingston and Galloway roads area, have fuelled the violence that has claimed the lives of three young people and wounded several others, police claim.
