Mom pushing stroller struck in 2 car collision

A woman who was pushing a stroller has been hospitalized after a two-car crash in Scarborough on Wednesday morning.

One of the vehicles ended up on the sidewalk at Brimley Road and St. Clair Avenue after the 9:20 a.m. collision, striking the woman.

The baby was not injured. Toronto police said there was “not a scratch” on the 18-month-old girl.

However, the woman sustained an injury to her leg.  She was taken to hospital and is expected to recover.

There’s no word yet on charges. Police are investigating whether one of the drivers fled the scene after the crash.
