The Easter Seals Drop Zone is offering thrill seekers the opportunity to rappel down the side of a highrise building while making a difference for people with disabilities.
CityNews meteorologist Natasha Ramsahai took part in the cause in Toronto on Thursday.
The rappel took place at the CREIT building located 175 Bloor St. E., near Jarvis Street.
Ramsahai said each person taking part in the rappel raised at least $1,500 for Easter Seals, which means by the end of the day the one-day event in Toronto will have raised $200,000.
Each person rappelled down with 17-storey building.
This year marks the 90th anniversary of Easter Seals.
