Canada-wide help sought to ID woman with amnesia

Canada-wide assistance is being requested by Toronto police to help identify a woman with amnesia.

The woman, known only as Linda, walked into a downtown Toronto shelter on Sept. 5 and couldn’t remember anything about herself. She was later taken to a shelter in the east end.

Officials are circulating her picture across the country in the hopes someone who knows her will come forward.

She is white, five-foot-seven, 150 pounds, with straight, shoulder-length, blond hair and blue eyes. She is wearing a dark blue jean jacket, black Capri pants, black slip-on walking shoes, a pink bandana, white ankle socks, light-brown glasses and a pink watch.
