Gamercamp takes place in Toronto this weekend

The GTA’s video-game lovers are gathering at the Isabel Bader Theatre in Toronto for Gamercamp — a weekend of guest speakers and hands-on workshops described as a fantasy camp for gamers.

Some of the speakers include Dean Hall, creator of the popular game DayZ, Chris Harvey, co-founder of Toronto-based DrinkBox Studios which created the game Mutant Blobs Attack, and Charles J. Pratt, an instructor at New York University’s Game Center.

More than 25 games will be showcased at Gamercamp, including several which have not been released to the public yet.

Exclusive to Gamercamp is the Toronto premiere of the film Ace Attorney, based on the hit adventure game Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney by Japanese director Takashi Miike.
