A York police officer was hurt while making an arrest Monday morning.
Several cruisers responded when an officer called for assistance at a plaza on Steeles Avenue west of Yonge Street around 3 a.m.
There are reports there was some type of altercation and police tried to arrest a man in a red SUV.
One cruiser was damaged, but it’s not clear how the officer was hurt.
The suspect was taken to hospital and is under police guard.
