Missing Vaughan woman found

York police have found an elderly woman who went missing in Vaughan early on Tuesday morning.
Maria Carvalho, 78, was last seen around 1:40 a.m. buying gas at Keele Street and Langstaff Road.
The woman’s family says she stopped to ask for directions, called her relatives, but didn’t return home.
Carvalho was found by 2:20 p.m. and was reunited with her family.
She is in good health, police said.
