Obama wins Florida 4 days after election

He has already won re-election, but four days after the vote, President Obama can now claim victory in the state of Florida.

CNN and other media outlets have officially declared Mister Obama the winner in the state, giving him a total of 332 electoral votes.

Challenger Mitt Romney finished out with a total of 206 electoral votes.

The announcement in Florida comes after officials spent the past few days counting ballots in three counties.

The tabulation would not have affected the final outcome of the national race.

But there were concerns that the state would experience some problems similar to those they had during the 2000 presidential election.
