Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has been released from the London hospital where she was being treated for severe morning sickness.
She was discharged from the King Edward VII Hospital on Thursday and will head to Kensington Palace for a period of rest, royal officials said.
Clarence House, the office that represents Prince William and Prince Harry, announced Kate’s pregnancy on Monday, after she was admitted to hospital.
William’s father, Prince Charles, said he was thrilled on becoming a grandfather.
Officials have said she is less than 12 weeks pregnant.
Kate was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, which causes severe nausea and vomiting.
