Police cruiser crashes through fence during chase

A police cruiser veered off the road and crashed through a fence on Weston Road during a chase on Thursday morning.
The driver of the other vehicle, who police say was speeding, managed to get away.
The collision happened just north of St. Clair Avenue West around 1 a.m.
Police said there was no contact between the cruiser and the other car.
No one was injured.
