Two men are dead after a head-on crash in Aurora early Saturday morning, the OPP confirms.

Sgt. Dave Woodford said a 25-year-old was driving south in the northbound lanes of Highway 404 when the crash happened near St. John’s Sideroad just before 6 a.m.

That man and the other driver, a 57-year-old man, were killed. They were the only ones in the cars.

The northbound lanes of Highway 404 were closed in the area for about five hours for the investigation and clean-up.

The victims were identified Monday as Chok Lam, 57, from Unionville.

Police said Brandon Warne, 25, of Markham was driving the wrong way.
