Water leak cancels visiting hours at Humber River Hospital Finch site

Friends and loved ones looking to visit patients at the Finch site of the Humber River Hospital will be unable to do so Tuesday night.
The hospital has cancelled all visiting hours after 6 p.m., with the exception of those visiting critically ill patients, due to a water pipe leak.
The main water supply to the hospital will be shut off after 6 p.m. so that repairs can be made.
There has been no word on what caused the leak.
Portable water sources will be available in clinical areas for patient care during the repair however water in public areas, including public washrooms, will not be available.
Visiting hours will resume at 11 a.m., Wednesday.
The hospital apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and is asking anyone with inquiries regarding patience at the Finch site to contact 416-747-3868.
