Toronto District School Board trustees wrapped up their meeting on Monday night after several hours of trying to find a replacement for Chris Spence.
The TDSB director of education resigned last week after admitting to plagiarizing several passages in a Toronto Star opinion piece.
After hours of debate, the board chair asked trustees to come back on Wednesday.
“We’ve asked that trustees go away and think about what the options are that are on the table, and if there are other things we can work on and through process come back on Wednesday to have a look at those proposals,” TDSB chair Chris Bolton told CityNews.
Bolton has put deputy director Donna Quan in charge temporarily after Spence stepped down last week.
