Toronto police have arrested a man after a Friday afternoon raid at a home in the city’s west end.

Members of the Emergency Task Force surrounded a home on Mould Avenue, near Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue West, around 1 p.m.

The man eventually surrendered.

Police believe he had a gun.

The raid may be connected to an earlier gunpoint robbery at a store near Runnymede Road and St. Clair.

Two men, possibly teenagers, robbed the store of watches and jewelry, and threatened the owner.
