Woman sexually assaulted at Bloor station

Toronto police are investigating after an 18-year-old woman was sexually assaulted at Bloor subway station.

It happened around 5 p.m., Wednesday.

Police told CityNews the assault happened in the station, not on a subway train.

It was reported that the suspect approached the victim at the Yonge-Bloor subway station, grabbed her and sexually assaulted her.

He then followed her onto the train to Bathurst station where he exposed himself to her.

The suspect is described as male, white, in his late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’6”, with a medium to large build, scruffy beard with round face, and short reddish hair with curls or waves.

He was last seen wearing a dark coloured waist-high winter jacket, grey jogging pants with elastics around the leggings, and a reddish orange back pack.

TTC officials said they would not comment on the incident.

Police continue to investigate.
