Ryerson students raise money for Sick Kids with VW Bug push

Ryerson students are once again raising money for the Hospital for Sick Children by pushing a Volkswagen Bug around the downtown Toronto campus for 24 hours.
Approximately 100 engineering students, sponsored by family and friends, began the fundraiser in the university quad, near Gerrard and Church streets, on Wednesday. The event will wrap up just before 11 a.m. on Thursday
The 11th annual Bug Push is organized by the Ryerson Engineering Students’ Society.
Since the event began in 2003, students have raised more than $18,000 for the hospital.
