2 officers injured during police chase

Two Toronto police officers were injured during a pursuit in the city’s west end on Tuesday.

It happened around 5 p.m. in the Finch Avenue West and Weston Road area.

Police told CityNews officers pursued three suspects after a robbery at a Bell Mobility store.

During the chase two officers were struck by a vehicle. One officer suffered minor injuries to the leg.

The other officer suffered minor injuries to his back and was transported to a trauma unit.

Police said they used the GPS system on the stolen devices to track the location of the perpetrators.

The three suspects were arrested. There has been no word on charges.
