North York home hit with Molotov cocktail again

Toronto police are investigating after a home in North York was hit with a Molotov cocktail for the second time in one week.

The homemade explosive was thrown through the window on Chalkfarm Drive, near Wilson Avenue and Jane Street, around 3 a.m. on Friday.

It went off inside the home, causing a small fire. No one was injured and police say damage was minimal.

On Monday, the Molotov cocktail didn’t ignite – but it did cause a broken window.

Another home in the neighbourhood was hit with a Molotov cocktail on Feb. 1.

No arrests have been made.
