Person struck & killed by train in Whitchurch-Stouffville

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train Wednesday morning near the Stouffville GO station.
There’s no word yet on the age or gender of the victim.
The collision happened around 7 a.m. on the tracks near the Ninth Line and Reeves Way.
GO Transit halted service at its Lincolnville and Stouffville stations for about two hours.
