Fans of The Rolling Stones will get what they need on Wednesday as the legendary British rockers are expected to announce their summer tour.
Billboards featuring the famous tongue logo alongside song titles have sprouted up all over North America, including Toronto.
The only other information on the signs is the single word “Wednesday.”
Rolling Stone magazine called the summer tour the “worst-kept secret” in rock and roll, as the group is already confirmed for England’s Glastonbury Festival on June 29 and has signed on with concert promoter AEG for an 18-date North American run.
The billboards are on display in Las Vegas and in Toronto, where the billboards can be seen from the Gardiner Expressway.
The Rolling Stones have a soft spot for Toronto, rehearsing for past tours at various venues around the city, including the Masonic Temple and the Phoenix, and playing surprise shows at the Horseshoe and the El Mocambo.
