1 dead in Midland crash

A 54-year-old man is dead after a car and a school bus crashed near Midland on Tuesday morning, Ontario Provincial Police tell CityNews.
Neither the bus driver nor the 33 students on board were injured. The bus driver was bringing students to St. Theresa Secondary School in Midland.
Jeevadass Cathamuthu of Port McNicoll, who was driving the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. at Old Fort Road and Vasey Road in Tay Township.
The car was travelling north when it collided with the eastbound bus, police said.
