Suspect sought in York University sex assault

Toronto police are investigating an alleged sexual assault at York University.

Police say a woman was about to enter Vari Hall around 4:50 a.m. on Wednesday when a man on a bicycle approached her.

He spoke to her but she didn’t respond. He assaulted her as she tried to enter the lecture hall, police said.

She pushed him away and he fled on the bicycle.

Police are searching for a black man, five-feet-six to five-feet-seven-inches tall, with a skinny build. He is 18 to 21 years old, 90 to 120 pounds, with a thin face and nose.

He was wearing a black toque, a dark jacket, a worn-out, thin winter jacket, dark khaki pants and black shoes.
