Cocaine seized, 5 arrested in GTA raids

Toronto police have released the names and charges against the five people arrested in a series of early-morning raids on Thursday.

The 12 raids – six in Toronto, three in Peel and three in Hamilton – led to the seizure of cocaine, hashish and money, police said.

Three people were arrested at an apartment on Legion Road North in Toronto, while two others were arrested at an apartment on Victoria Park Avenue. No arrests were made in Peel or Hamilton.

Rachel Richards, 18, of Caledon; Jermaine Dunkley, 28, of Toronto; and Damione Williams, 30, of Toronto, have each been charged with possession for the purpose – cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of hashish (under).

Dunkley was also charged with possession of proceeds of crime.

Tabi Morant, 26, and Tavar Knott, 26, both of Toronto, have each been charged with possession for the purpose – cocaine and possession of proceeds of crime.
