South Korean rapper Psy launches comic book

Psy’s rise to stardom has been set to colour in a new comic book for Bluewater Productions’ Fame series in conjunction with South Korean company “able.”

The 26-page biographical book starts at the beginning of the South Korean’s life as a child and then goes on to show his rise to fame.

Vivid images show Psy teaching Ellen and Britney Spears  the dance for Gangnam Style, and his visit with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

The book ends with his current release Gentleman, which amassed 51 million views in 40 hours when it was released on April 13.

Last year, Psy broke Youtube records when his music video Gangnam Style was viewed over 1.5 billion times.

The story was written by M.C. Choi, a Korean journalist and member of Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Illustrations were created by Korean artist Joon Han.

On May 1st the book will be available in print in the U.S. and Korea.
