Limited number of Leafs tickets on sale Saturday morning

MLSE is making 250 tickets available to its fans for the Toronto Maple Leafs first home game of the playoffs against the Boston Bruins on Monday night.

The tickets will be available to the 74,000 members of the Leafs Last Minute Club at 10 a.m. Saturday, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment said Friday.

“On Saturday morning you will receive an e-mail, including a link to purchase, notifying you that the tickets will be on sale at 10:00 a.m.,” MLSE said in an email.

Hopefully, fans won’t see any technical glitches as they encountered last week when they tried to purchase Leafs’ first two playoff games.

Advance ticket sales for those games hit a major snag on April 25 when buyers were temporarily unable to purchase tickets online.

The 750 tickets were supposed to be available to Leafs Last Minute Club at 10 a.m. that day on Ticketmaster. But fans couldn’t buy them until a half-hour later.

The Leafs-Bruins game begins at 7 p.m. on Monday at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.
