Man sought in Oakville plaza robbery

Jesse Rigo, 21, of Mississauga is wanted for an alleged robbery in Oakville on May 3, 2013. HANDOUT/HRP

Police are looking for one of three suspects allegedly caught in the middle of robbing a business in an Oakville plaza.

Around 2:45 a.m. Friday, Halton officers interrupted a break-in at Fox Creek Plaza, at Third Line and Dundas Street West, and arrested one suspect.

Two others fled on foot, and though police shot at them, they appeared to have got away unharmed.

Police tracked down one in a cab in Brampton, but the other, a 21-year-old Mississauga man, is still at large.

His name is Jesse Rigo and he is white, five-foot-eight and 170 pounds, with scruffy facial hair, brown eyes and long shoulder-length brown hair, which may be in a ponytail. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie and beige or grey jogging pants.

Officers also seized a stolen vehicle at the scene and believe the crime is connected to a break-in in Burlington not long before.
