2 in custody after east-end crash

Two people are in custody and Toronto police are searching for a third after a crash in the city’s east end on Tuesday morning.
Police were in the area of Markham Road and Lawrence Avenue around 1 a.m. when the three young men took off on Greencedar Circuit.
Two of them were in a car, but the driver later ploughed through a fence. Police arrested the two in the car. Their injuries are not believed to be serious.
The third man took off on foot and is still at large.
There’s no word yet on charges and police have not said why they were investigating.
