6 of Toronto’s worst intersections on Sheppard

Six of Toronto’s 10 most-congested intersections are on Sheppard Avenue, according to a new report from Transportation Services.
The worst offender is Bayview Avenue and Sheppard, followed by Yonge Street from Highway 401 to Sheppard.
The report recommends improving traffic signal coordination at around 1,000 intersections over the next three years.
A list of the most congested intersections was detailed in the report by Transportation Services.
The top 10 worst intersections in Toronto are:
- Bayview Ave. at Sheppard Ave. E.
- Yonge St., Highway 401 to Sheppard Ave.
- York St., Front St. to Gardiner Expressway
- Sheppard Ave. W. at Allen Rd.
- Leslie St., Highway 401 to Sheppard Ave. E.
- Lake Shore Blvd., York St. to Bathurst St.
- Kennedy Rd., Highway 401 to Sheppard Ave. E.
- Markham Rd., Highway 401 to Sheppard Ave. E.
- Dufferin St. at Finch Ave. W.
- Black Creek Dr. at Lawrence Ave. W.
