Witnesses sought in Vaughan crash

York police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a weekend crash in Vaughan that sent a man to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say that around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday the driver was travelling north on Bathurst Street just past Highway 407 when he crashed into a light pole and flipped over.
It’s not known why the driver lost control of his vehicle.
The driver, a 28-year-old man, remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries. His passenger, a 24-year-old woman, had minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
