Suspect sought in downtown assault

Toronto police are searching for a suspect after a man was badly beaten downtown on Saturday morning.
Just after 3 a.m., emergency crews were called to Yonge and Gerrard streets after a fight broke out between two men.
Police found a man in his early 20s suffering from blunt force trauma.
He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating.
