Crews battle fire at abandoned North York home

Toronto fire fighters made short work of a blaze at an abandoned North York home on Saturday night.

The fire began on Sheppard Avenue near Bathurst Street around 11:20 p.m.

Crews had the two-alarm fire knocked down by 12:15 a.m. Sunday.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire and the cost of the damage is not yet known.
