Ford recalls 465,000 cars for fuel leaks

Ford is recalling 465,000 cars because of fuel tank leaks that could result in a fire.

The affected models are the 2013 Ford Fusion, Flex, Explorer, Taurus, Interceptor Sedan, Interceptor Utility, Lincoln MKZ, MKS and MKT.  All of the affected vehicles are from 2013.

Ford says it received 600 complaints from customers about the problem, but no fires or injuries have been reported.

The majority of the vehicles – 420,000 – were sold in North America, while the rest were sold overseas, the auto manufacturer said.
