The Rolling Stones play 2nd Toronto show Thursday

The Rolling Stones rocked the Air Canada Centre Thursday night for the second time in two weeks.

Hot off their May 25 performance at the ACC, which featured a special surprise appearance from country superstar Carrie Underwood, Mick Jagger and the gang were back, churning out a slew of their hits in front of 16,000 frenzied fans.

Die-hard fan Dale said, “We wouldn’t miss it for the world. I mean, seriously, I’m sure we’ll see them again,” when asked about the possibility of this being the last time Torontonians will see the Stones on the stage.

The setlist for the May 25 gig included such hits as Start Me Up, Can’t Always Get What You Want, and Satisfaction. The band also performed Doom and Gloom and One More Shot, two new songs off their compilation album GRRR!, which was released last  November.

Also during that show, Jagger took a shot at Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and allegations there is a video of him smoking drugs.

The group’s 50 & Counting tour kicked off in Paris back in October and marks 50 years since the band first formed back in 1962.

The Stones’ next stop of their tour is Montreal’s Bell Centre on June 9, followed by seven more shows. The band will wrap up their international tour at home on July 13, performing their final show to sold-out crowd in in London’s Hyde Park.
