A Mississauga man accused of a two-year-old murder is back in the GTA after his extradition from Greece.
Mladen (Michael) Ivezic, 53, had been held in Athens since his arrest in January, and Toronto police brought him back on Friday.
Allan Lanteigne, 49, a University of Toronto accountant, was found bludgeoned to death in his Ossington Avenue home on March 3, 2011.
And it wasn’t until late last year that his husband, Demitry Papasotiriou, 32, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Ivezic has also been charged with first-degree murder and appeared in an Old City Hall court on Saturday.
