The City of Toronto ended its four-day heat alert on Thursday morning with a high of 26 C in the forecast.
The alert was first issued on Sunday and was upgraded to an extreme heat alert for two days.
With cooler temperatures in store Thursday, the city called off the warning.
“We are going to see some clouds today and more comfortable conditions,” CityNews weather specialist Frank Ferragine said.
“We’ll see a high of 26 C, feeling 34 C, with a risk of some wet weather,” he added.
