A Costco store in Mississauga has been evacuated because of noxious fumes.
Just after 8 a.m. Thursday, crews cleared the building on Laird Road, near Dundas Street West and Winston Churchill Boulevard, and found the source to be a chlorine puck in the garbage compactor.
There are reports a man may have inhaled the fumes, but it’s not known if he needed treatment in hospital.
The hazardous-materials unit is on the scene.
