The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning consumers not to eat Umnitza brand baby cereal over fears the product may be contaminated with a type of mould known as mycotoxin HT-2.
One person has become ill after eating the cereal, which was imported from Russia.
The cereal was distributed in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec.
Importer Wonder Berry North America is voluntarily recalling the product.
Mycotoxin HT-2 can grow in food crops such as cereals or grains and may cause nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
