Toronto woman dies at home after being hit by car

Police have released a photo of a 46-year-old woman who died at home on Friday after she was hit by a car.

Officers say the woman told her family about the incident when she got home between 2:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.

She lives near Finch Avenue East and Leslie Street, but police said she could have been hit anywhere in the GTA. They are treating the death as suspicious.

Investigators would like to talk to anyone who saw the woman on Friday or saw her get hit by a car. They’d also like the driver of the car to come forward.

She has straight, shoulder-length, dark-brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a long, brown coat with blue jeans.
