Man dead in motorcycle crash

A 27-year-old man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on Havendale Road near Midland and Sheppard avenues late Wednesday night.
He was heading west on Havendale around 9:10 p.m. when he lost control and struck a fence, Toronto police say.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
The victim’s name has not been released. He was Toronto’s 18th traffic fatality victim of the year.
Police are investigating.
