Daycare operator’s husband accused of sex assault

The husband of a daycare operator has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman, Toronto police say.
On Thursday, a woman went to a private daycare at 531 Glenlake Ave., near Runnymede Road and Bloor Street West, to pick up her child.
When she arrived, she was met by the daycare operator’s husband whose spouse was away on holiday. And the victim was sexually assaulted, police said.
Ilija Novosel, 49, of Toronto, was charged with sexual assault on Saturday.
He appeared at the Old City Hall courthouse on Sunday morning.
