Police issue warning after string of Etobicoke break-ins

Toronto police have issued a public safety warning after at least three residential break-ins in Etobicoke early Wednesday morning.

All of the homes are in the Bloor Street West and Mill Road area.

Police say it appears the same suspect entered the three homes through unlocked windows and doors.

No one was hurt, but in two occasions homeowners confronted the suspect. Luckily, no one was hurt.

“I was totally shocked and overwhelmed and amazed that someone would be that brazen to come into the bedroom,” said Stephan Buck, who awoke to find the man inside his bedroom.

The suspect ran off with a camera that was later recovered.

Police are warning residents in the area to be vigilant and lock all doors and windows.
