Pedestrian hit at Royal York and Bloor

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Royal York Road and Bloor Street West in Toronto’s west end.
The 55-year-old victim was taken to a trauma centre shortly after the 3 p.m. incident on Wednesday.
The intersection was closed during the police investigation but has since reopened.
Meanwhile , a 69-year-old woman was taken to hospital with head injuries after being struck in Brampton on Wednesday afternoon. Her injuries are not considered not life-threatening.
The incident occurred around 3:10 p.m. at McLaughlin Road North and Brookview Road.
