Police ID man accused of stealing from injured cyclist

Police have charged a 36-year-old man who allegedly stole from a cyclist who had been hit by a car.
Around 3 a.m. on Saturday, a driver reversed into a woman as she was biking on Spadina Avenue, just south of College Street, and then fled the area.
Officers say as she lay semi-conscious on the ground, a bystander rifled through her bag, took her cellphone and left.
Fred Munroe was arrested nearby and charged with theft and failing to comply with probation.
He had a court date at Old City Hall last Sunday.
